The Holography toolkit is a set of applications, scripts, libraries, and format definitions that allows to create and manipulate digital holograms.

Applications

• DFtoHologram - converts an optical field into a hologram
• HoloCalculator - a utility performing calculations that are related to the hologram generation algorithms
• HoloFullSourceCU - generates the optical field of a virtual scene using the ColumnUnit based algorithm
• HoloFullSynthGPU - generates the optical field of a virtual scene using the angular sampling algorithm (GPU based)
• HoloGenCPU - generates the optical field of a virtual scene using the angular sampling algorithm (CPU based)
• HoloGenMPI - generates the optical field of a virtual scene using the angular sampling algorithm (MPI based)
• HoloGenMPIConnect - a utility that connects optical field blocks produced by the HoloGenMPI application
• HoloHalfSynthCU - generates the optical field of a virtual scene using the ColumnUnit based algorithm
• HoloPropagLarge - a utility for an optical field manipulation

Matlab scripts

• calc_params - calculates limit parameters for the angular sampling algorithm
• propag_full - propagates an optical field's angular spectrum
• propag_hpo - propagates an HPO optical field's angular spectrum
• read_df - reads an optical field from a DF file
• save_norm - normalizes a matrix of values and saves it into a file
• write_df - writes an optical field into a DF file

3D Studio Max scripts

• 3D Studio Max scene to Scene XML export - exports a scene from 3D Studio MAX into a XML Scene file
