PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS

ORAL PRESENTATION

• The time for presentation is 20 minutes. Afterwards, a 5 minutes time span is left for a discussion.
• Please, prepare your presentation in either Adobe PDF format or Microsoft PowerPoint format if you plan to use the computer installed on site (it is an Intel-based PC with Microsoft Windows).
• You can use your own computer for the presentation as well. In such case, of course, there is no restriction on the format of the presentation. However, if your computer has a less common display port (like e.g. the DisplayPort), please, bring a converter with you (VGA D-sub 15 and HDMI are considered standard and work fine with our projectors).
• The recommended aspect ratio of the presentation is 16:9 or 16:10.

POSTER PRESENTATION

• The posters will be displayed in a designated conference hall/hallway using stand-alone boards. They have neutral grey frames and backgrounds. Duct tape (transparent) will be available on spot from the organizers.
• Each board is portrait-oriented and the dimensions of its utilizable area are: width 675 millimetres (approx. 26.5 in), height 975 millimetres (approx. 38.4 in).
• The recommended ISO 216/DIN 476 format of posters is A1, portrait-oriented. The largest ISO 216/DIN 476 formats that fit onto the boards are thus A1 and C1. The largest U.S./Canadian/imperial formats are ANSI/ASME Y14.1 size D, Arch D, and Atlas or Double Demy.
• Your poster needs to be installed at least 1 hour before the beginning of the poster session (the designated hall will be accessible for the poster authors).

ONLINE PRESENTATIONS

• Online presentations will take place in a designated virtual room opened on the Zoom platform. Therefore, we would like to ask you to install the Zoom Client for Meetings on your computer for better performance and user experience.
• The recommended aspect ratio of the presentation is 16:9 or 16:10.
• Online poster presentations will take place in designated virtual Zoom rooms in parallel. Each poster session (as shown above in the conference programme) will have its own room. The link and the pass code needed to enter the room will be available right here in the programme roster.
• All presented posters will be accessible via links in the programme. The discussants will, thus, be easily able to look over the posters and the presenters won't have to show them (very small) in their presentations.
• For those online/remote participants who have posters, we offer the possibility to print their posters and hang them in the poster room so that the on-site participants can view them and get prepared for the online discussion. Please, send us your poster(s) in PDF format no later than on 23 August, 2021, and we will have them printed for you. In the case the poster PDF file is so large that it won't pass through e-mail, please, contact us to arrange a way to hand the file over. In the case the deadline is too short for you, please, contact us too to agree on a date that would suit you better.
