• The Australian Cryptography FAQ. This (very useful) FAQ provides information about the laws, policies and politics related to cryptography usage and export in Australia, as well as some basic information about why people use cryptography and the technology of cryptography software.

• The Cryptography FAQ. Read Part 01 to discover which section you're interested in. This is the best place to start your investigation of cryptography. It's also available in HTML format from various sources, but none in Australia that I'm aware of.

• Avoiding bogus encryption products: Snake Oil Warning Signs. A great little FAQ on practical cryptography, also available at the Australian AARNet mirror -- a faster (and cheaper) download for Australian residents.
